UOI Presentations Day 1

Reading Buddies 

All the Grade 4 classes joined together to present their summatives! We will continue tomorrow as well.

Only 4 more days to get any library books you might still have back to Ms. Hayward!
Check your backpacks!  Check your bookshelves! Check under your bed!

Also - We are missing the 5th Babysitters Club Book - Have you seen it? The rest of the series really wants it to come home to them.

Monday and Tuesday, June 11 and 12- Wear FULL uniform on both days! We still still be awarded points that will contribute to our pizza party if we win! UOI presentations on both days (present one poetry and the art, dance or skit project).

Wednesday, June 13- Wear house colours! House game and monthly awards ceremony in the morning. Year end play from 11:00- 3:00 pm.

Thursday, June 14- Wear country's colours or a soccer jersey! END OF YEAR CLASS PARTY (Bring snacks for the party and devices)

Friday, June 15- Wear smart casual clothes! Morning- Fun awards handed out in class. Graduation ceremony at City Church from 12:00- 1:00 (Grade 4's).

Last day for summative

Today was the last day for students to work on their summative project. Presentations will take place on Monday and Tuesday. Students need to present ONE poem from their poetry book in addition to their art, dance, or skit presentation. Students also wrote their last spelling test of the year!! Please sign and have corrections made for Monday.

Our crock a doodle art pieces finally came in today! They turned out awesome!!

Summative

Students worked on their summative all day! They were required to start on their dance, art, or skit project and will continue tomorrow as well. Tomorrow will be the last day to work on the summatives.

Students wrote their Unit 11 math test today.

Language/UOI

Students continued to work on their good copy of the poems. Students should have completed their whole poetry book today.

Tree Diagrams

Students continued to work on their summative project in class. For those who didn't bring their materials for their art, dance, or skit project yet, please bring them tomorrow.

Math

Learning goal: Students will learn about tree diagrams.

We looked at an example together on pg. 389 and 390. Students worked on pg. 391 questions 1-3. Math review is pg. 398 questions 1, 2, 3, and 7.

Homework: Math sheet. Math test tomorrow!
