Students read Frindle Chapter 1-3. Students will be introduced to the activities tomorrow that needs to be completed after every 3 chapters. They have 1 week to complete each activity.
Math
Learning goal: Students will use coordinates to find and describe locations on a grid.
We looked at examples on pg. 228 and 229 and students worked on pg. 230 questions 1-3.

Learning goal: Students will learn about rocks and minerals.
We talked about igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks. We discussed what the most common types of rocks are in each category, how they're formed and what type of textures they have.
