Divide decimals by 10

Language/UOI

Students tried their first attempt in class today to recite their speeches.

Homework: Students need to continue to memorize their speech throughout the week! Spelling test signed and corrected.

Math

Learning goal: Students will divide decimals by 10.

We looked at examples on pg. 143 and 144 and students worked on pg. 144 questions 1-3. Students learned that dividing decimals mean that we move the decimal to the left once (divide by 10) or twice (divide by 100), which is the opposite of multiplication.

Homework: Math sheet. Math test Tuesday, February 6.
