Language
Learning goal: Students will learn about plural possessives (lesson 29).
We looked at examples and read the story from the lesson. Students wrote the spelling words in their agenda and started to complete lesson activities in class. We read Frindle Chapter 10-12 in class.
Homework: Complete lesson 29. Spelling test signed and corrected. Frindle Activity #3 due tomorrow.
Math
Learning goal: Students will compare and order fractions (lesson 3).
Students learned to convert all fractions to the same denominator in order to compare and order them from least to greatest. Students learned they need to find multiplies of the highest denominator from the question.
Students worked on textbook pg. 267 questions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10.
Homework: Math sheet
Reminder: Bring pebbles tomorrow
