Students wrote their spelling test today. The rest of the period was spent working on the science fair. Students wrote their list of materials down and I checked their paragraph and why they are interested in doing this project.
Math
Today we reviewed relating units of measure in class. We took up the math homework from last night as most students had some trouble correctly converting units.
Homework: Math Sheet (review of converting cm, m, mm)
UOI
Today was the second day for students to work on the idea for a light or sound signal. Students had to draw, label, and explain their sketch. Based on their two ideas, they had to choose one and will be gathering materials over the weekend to create it on Monday.
Homework: Bring materials to make the chosen light or sound signal on Monday.
