Students worked on the science fair today in class. They worked on the good copy of the project for their question/purpose and the science terms they researched for their project.
Math
Learning goal: Students learned to use grids to find perimeter and area.
We looked at examples on pg. 319 and 320 on the explore and connect page. Students worked on a page 321 in the textbook on questions 1 and 5 to find the perimeter and area of the figures.
*NOTE: Please have students count the perimeter and area carefully. Many students have made careless mistakes today where their answers are one or two off from the correct answer.
