Learning goal: Students will read Chapter 5 of Anne of Green Gables.
Students provided a summary of what has happened in the book so far and I read aloud Chapter 5 of Anne of Green Gables. Students completed comprehension questions in their duotang.
Homework: Spelling corrections if there are any. *Reminder: Spelling test will be on Thursday this week.
Math
Learning goal: Students will recall basic multiplication and division facts.
Students worked on a math practice sheet for multiplication and division. After, students worked in partners to test each other on the multiplication chart using the strategies we talked about.
Homework: Complete math worksheets.
UOI
Learning goal: Students will play a review game.
Students worked in their summative groups and decided on which province/territory they would like to propose for their project. Researched information is to be brought into school Tuesday, October 10th.
Students played a review game in class. Questions related to provinces/territories were posted around the classroom and students had to fill it out the answers on a chart and we took up the answers as a class.
Homework: Start to bring International day props/items to school tomorrow and Thursday.
