Language

Spelling lesson 6 for this week is a review of lessons 1-5. Students went through the lesson activities in class today and will be completing the rest for homework tonight.

Homework: Spelling lesson 6. RAZ Kids once a week.

Math

Learning goal: Students will continue practicing division through 3 and 4 digit numbers by a 1 digit number.

Examples of 3 and 4 digit number division was provided on the board and students were shown how to answer them correctly. As a class we went through them together and then student volunteers came up to the board to answer them on their own. Students were assigned textbook pg. 66 question 1 for practice and division worksheets for extra practice if needed.

Homework: Math division practice sheet. Math test on Monday, October 23.

UOI

Learning goal: Students will work on creating their summative project.

Students used their time to create their presentation in class using the props, materials, and technology they have brought to school.

Ordering Website is now active for the month of November. You may start ordering your child's lunches! Please make sure your child is under the correct grade when ordering. http://mydigitalmailroom.com/sja The last day to order for November will be Friday, October 27th. After this date, our system closes and is unable to open for November ordering. All payments are due on Friday, November 3rd. 

Payment Instructions

• There are two options to pay for lunches. Cash and online via Freshbooks. 
• If you choose to pay through Freshbooks, please choose the cheque option on the ordering site. 
• Cheque payments will not be accepted. 

• Shortly after completing your order, a Freshbooks invoice will be sent to your email. 
• It may take one or two days to process your order to Freshbooks, so please check your email diligently for the invoice.  

Another item has been added to our Hot Lunch Program as a Special. This month's special is Lasagna that will be available every Friday!
