Students continued working on International day. We have now completed putting together three of our display boards. We have finished our last board today along with making paper cranes to decorate the board and display area.
Homework: Study for spelling test tomorrow.
Math
Students reviewed multiplication through math centres. The first one was a bingo station, the second was fact family flash cards, third one was math drills, and the last one was timed math drills.
UOI
Learning goal: Students will complete an art activity.
Students went outside to the playground and had to find a maple leaf. The leaf was placed in the middle of a paper to represent the maple leaf on the Canadian flag. They painted the two side panels of the paper the same colours as the leaf.
Reminders
- Bring International day items tomorrow to school
- Wear Japanese clothes/colours of the flag
