Learning goal: Students will read Chapter 6 of Anne of Green Gables.
Students were asked to provide a quick summary of what has happened in the book so far and I read Chapter 6 out loud to the class. Students completed the comprehension questions in their novel study duotang.
Math
Learning goal: Students will learn how to multiply 2 digit numbers.
We looked at examples on pg. 58 on the explore and connect page. I showed students the steps on how to multiply 2 digit numbers. Students completed practice pg. 59 questions 1 and 2 in class. We will continue working on 2 digit multiplication in class tomorrow as well.
Homework: Pg. 60 question 3 and 6.
UOI
Learning goal: Students will work on their summative project.
Students continued to look through their research to fill in the information templates in their package.
