Learning goal: Students will continue writing their rough draft for the OWA practice report.
Students had to complete their rough draft in class today on the snowy owl. They will be writing their good copy next Tuesday to prepare for the OWA post-test on Wednesday.
Homework: Complete rough draft for Monday if not finished today.
Math
Learning goal: Students will take up their unit 2 review package in class.
As a class we took up the answers for the unit 2 review package. We went through each question on the whiteboard and student volunteers came up to show their work. The other students had to check that their answers were correct. We discussed any reoccurring mistakes or misunderstanding of concepts from the review package.
Homework: Study for math test on Monday, Oct 23 and complete all questions in the textbook on page 75.
UOI
Group 3 did their summative presentation today!
Homework: Bring books from the library related to our next UOI: Light and Sound
