Language
Learning goal: Students will learn about hard and soft 'c' and 'g' sounds.
Students read the story on page 17 and the TIP on page 18. Students wrote their spelling words in their agenda and started to work on lesson 4 activities.
Students continued to work on International day after. Those who finished the good copy started to decorate the poster board and glue on their work and pictures.
Homework: Please start to bring pictures for International day. Please start to think about what items you will be bringing to International Day on Thursday. Spelling lesson 4 due tomorrow.
Math
Learning goal: Students will recall basic multiplication and division facts.
We reviewed basic multiplication and division facts with a lot of student input to create our anchor chart. Students completed pg. 49 questions 1-3 in class.
Homework: Pg. 49 questions 4 and 5.
UOI
Learning goal: Students were introduced to their UOI summative project.
Students received a summative package today regarding their project that is due on the 18th and presentations will take place on the 19th and 20th. They were also put into their groups, each person is responsible for bringing in research from starting tomorrow after their province/territory is determined.
Homework: Bring UOI summative researched information next Tuesday, Oct 10.
