Learning goal: Students will start practicing for the OWA Report writing.
Before starting the OWA practice, we did a quick lesson on sentences using the writing book on pg. 27. After the lesson, we started to practice for our OWA post-assessment by having students learn how to write a report on an animal.
Homework: Review spelling lesson 1-5 words.
Math
Learning goal: Students will solve word problems with more than one step.
We looked at examples on pg. 68 and 69 in the textbook and worked on it together on the board. Students worked on pg. 69 questions 1-3 in class.

Learning goal: Students continued to work on their summative assignment.
Students have made really good progress from their work in class yesterday. Students used today to continue to complete their presentations and start to practice for their final presentations on Thursday and Friday.
